A press report revealed today that Argentine Barcelona star Lionel Messi paid a huge sum to Spanish taxes.
The Spanish newspaper El Mundo said that Al-Barghout paid 370 million in Spanish taxes over 4 years.
She explained that Messi's contract with Barcelona stipulates that the latter will charge more than 555 million and 237 thousand euros, depending on the variables, but Al-Barghout got only 92 percent of the contract value, which amounts to 511 million and 540 thousand euros.
She pointed out that according to the contract that Messi concluded with Barcelona, Al-Flea earns about 70 million euros as a fixed amount, so he pays an amount between 35 and 40 million euros every year and this number changes from year to year according to the changes that Messi gets from his contract with the Catalan club.
