The director of the football leagues together with the players' organization of the Premier League went out tonight (Wednesday) in a joint campaign calling on the fans to get vaccinated.
As part of the campaign, the players want to convey a message about the importance of immunization in order to bring fans back to the pitches, as opinion leaders and influencers.
Erez Kalfon, chairman of the leagues' director: "We are working hard to end the vaccination campaign for the players so that we can end the leagues in a sporty way and on the field.
"As part of the three-beat program to get the crowd back on the pitches, we finished the first stage focusing on returning the games. In the second stage, we are working hard to finish the players 'vaccination and now face the third stage which is the fans' vaccination, which is the only way. Want to get vaccinated! "
Moshiko Mishalof, CEO of the Football Players' Association: "Football players have lifted the glove and started getting vaccinated.
While the Ministry of Health is brainstorming how to encourage the younger generation to get vaccinated, football players are setting an example for the entire public in Israel.
"The vaccines are important because they keep us all healthy, help keep the league and hopefully help bring fans back to the pitches. Soon in Israel there will be a vaccinated football league in the world. We call on all Israelis to act responsibly for the health of us all: get vaccinated."
