Spaniard Pablo Carreño qualified for the third round of the Australian Open tennis tournament, after defeating Czech Jiri Wesley.
World number 16 Carinho managed to beat Wesley in three sets to one with a score of 6/3, 7/6, 2/6 and 6/4, and qualified for the next round.
In the third round, Carinho will face the winner of the Bulgarian Gregor Dimitrov, ranked 21st, and Australian Alex Bolt, ranked 166.
