The Blues with three straight wins under them and still undefeated since Thomas Tuchel replaced on the lines Frank Lampard who was sacked.
Now, Chelsea want to continue in the good times, and should not get too involved with the team from 12th place in the Championship.
In the Barnsley Cup, it passed the leader Norwich, but in the league, the host has not been able to win in its last five games, when in front of the Premier League opponent, Barnsley will have to make do without three players due to injuries.
On the other hand, Kai Habertz may return, but is still not one hundred percent qualified.
The injured Thiago Silva will be absent from Chelsea.

Two teams that are in a bad period are hoping to achieve at least success in the Cup.
Southampton who at some point this season looked like they could be the Premier League hit, already counting four consecutive losses, including the insane 9-0 draw they suffered from Manchester United, and they slipped to 12th place.
On the other hand, the Wolves are going through a fairly mediocre season, to say the least, after last season they looked great and spent time at the top.
The two teams met this season in November so the game ended 1-1.
