The additional candidate for the 2021 State Cup final will be determined tonight (Thursday) at the end of the second semi-final match that brings together Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel Holon in Drive In.
The two teams have met 11 times in the state cup so far and only once did Holon come out on top - in the 2018 final. This season they met twice - in the league Stefanos Dadas' team won, and in the Winner's Cup final the Yellows celebrated.
Scotty Wilbkin, Elijah Bryant, Angelo Cloiaro, Ante Žižić and Othello Hunter were included in the squad of Yannis Sapropoulos, when T. J. Klein first dressed up against his former team.
Those left out are Tyler Dorsey, Dragon Bender and Chris Jones, as well as Omri Caspi who has yet to overcome the virus in his stomach.
Holon hopes to continue its successful season, which has so far included a historic immigration to the next stage in Europe, reaching the Winner of the Cup final and a good period in the league as well, which put it into the top six.
