Maccabi Haifa announced this morning (Thursday) that Muhammad Awad has returned to the team.

The 23-year-old striker, who was loaned to Lech Poznan in the summer, ended his career in the Polish team, it was agreed between the two clubs.

Awad has already landed in Israel and will soon join the team's training.

Awad told the official website this morning: "I am very happy to return home, to my natural place. Maccabi Haifa has goals and I hope to help them as much as possible."

As is well known, Maccabi Haifa needs a striker following the injury of its goal machine Nikita Rokavica. Belach Poznan wanted to receive small compensation for allowing the agreement, and in Haifa they managed to reach an equal valley on the issue. All along, Awad himself sent a message that he wanted to return to the green uniform.
