Bayern Munich tonight (Thursday) won the World Club Championship for the second time in history after beating the Mexican Tigers 1: 1 in a one-sided final held in Doha, Qatar.
The Bavarians with the victory got their hands on their sixth title in the last year after winning the championship, cup, Champions League, European Super Cup, German Super Cup and became the first to do so since Barcelona in 2009.
The winning goal was scored by Benjamin Fabar, the Germans' right-back, in the 59th minute, after in the first half a goal by Yozue Kimish was disqualified due to a dissent. Bayern unquestionably dominated the game by kicking the opponent's goal 19 times compared to just 3 that were kicked towards her hair and eventually managed to pick up the only title she was missing from the closet in one of the big seasons the club knew.
