Southampton qualified for the quarter-finals of the FA Cup after winning 2-0 at Wolverhampton today in the round of 16 of the competition.
The two goals of the match came in the second half, as Danny Ings opened the scoring for Southampton in the 49th minute, while Stuart Armstrong added the second goal in the 90th minute.
The victory comes to restore some calm to Southampton, who suffered from shaky results in the Premier League championship after losing their last five matches in the competition.
