VfB CEO Hitzlsperger, club president Vogt: "The opposite is true"

It was a good seven years ago when VfB Stuttgart revived a bellicose slogan for a new club philosophy.
"Fearless and loyal" has been the motto since then on fan articles or on the team bus of the Bundesliga soccer team.
The saying comes from the time of Wilhelm I of Württemberg and already inspired soldiers when they moved from there to the First and Second World Wars.
When the supporters of the club go to the club's homepage today, they are caught by these keywords.
The messages below, however, have little to do with the two properties.
The club is currently sinking into chaos because some club superiors are putting their own power interests above loyalty to their club.
And the executives are certainly not fearless: There are quite a few functionaries who seem to do everything to sweep past mistakes under the rug instead of clarifying the truth.
