Paris Saint-Germain will have to do without superstar Neymar in the coming weeks.
The 28-year-old Brazilian suffered an adductor injury in the 1-0 (0-0) victory in the cup at the second division club SM Caen.
This means that Neymar will miss the French champions in the first leg of the first leg of the Champions League next Tuesday at his former club FC Barcelona.
As PSG announced, Neymar will not be available for around four weeks.
A use in the second leg against Barcelona on March 10th is therefore open.
In the 2016/2017 season, Neymar had the memorable 6: 1 against PSG in the second leg of the round of 16 after the 4: 1 in the first leg with the goals to 4: 1 (88th) and 5: 1 (90th + 1) for "Miracle of Barcelona" contributed.
The duel should be pretty even this season, both teams have not yet reached their top form.
Against Caen, the Parisian 222 million transfer from 2017 in the 60th minute after two harder fouls within a short time apparently left the field in pain.
Before his injury, Neymar had launched the decisive goal by Moise Kean (49th).
Neymar has only played 18 competitive games this season and has already missed 14 games due to injuries, illness or suspension.
