An unpleasant incident happened last night (Friday) over Everton's veteran manager, Carlo Ancelotti.
The Times reports that two masked men broke into the Italian's home, stole a safe with valuables and after his daughter fled them, the two quickly left the house.
"We are seeking information after a safe was stolen from a home in a break-in to the Crossbury neighborhood on Friday night," Merseyside police said in a statement.
"We were called to the house at 6:35 p.m. after a report of two men entering a private home on Hall Road. The perpetrators were described as wearing waterproof black clothing with white lettering," they added.
According to the police report, none of the family members were injured when police officers subsequently participated in searches in the area and investigations are ongoing. CCTV cameras near Ancelotti's home are also being tested to try to locate the thieves.
