Gareth Bale becomes a burden on Tottenham as well.
The Welsh winger, who was loaned out from Real Madrid after a long period of decline in ability, also managed to infuriate Jose Mourinho.
Last night (Friday) the Roosters coach came out openly against Bale, after the latter posted a defiant Instagram post, in which he claimed that he trained as usual with the team and that he is fit for the team's next game - in stark contrast to Mourinho's statements.
"I do not usually talk about such things, but I must admit that this post has aroused in me the need to provide explanations," Mourinho said last night.
"This post does not correspond to reality. He is not qualified and does not train well, it is simply not true. If he is ready, he will be on the staff."

It has been a long time since Tottenham were unhappy with Bale, who had hoped to return to his former club and return to his peak, but failed to deliver the goods.
Following Mourinho's remarks last night, it was reported in Spain that Real Madrid will be forced to absorb Bale, who is signed until 2022, with no choice.
The Welshman will return to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer and the Blancos will have to find a solution for him, but it is doubtful if there will be a team that will be willing to bear the costly costs of his contract.
"Mourinho is fed up with Bale, too," read the headline of "Marca" this morning.
"It seems that with each passing day, the relationship between Mourinho and Bale is becoming more and more tense. And now, Real will have no choice but to get him back and try to find another team that will be willing to sign him. It will be a difficult task."
