Said Moulay in Israel (Judo Association)
Peak excitement in the Israeli Judo Association in light of the historic visit of Iranian judoka Said Moulay in Israel.
The flight from Istanbul on which he was last night (Sunday) departed late and instead of landing at 21:00, landed only towards midnight in the country.
The chairman of the Judo Association, Moshe Ponti, who came to greet Moulay and his Iranian coach, Muhammad Mansuri, was very excited when he saw the two on Israeli soil.
"Ponti, Oren Samadja, Sagi Muki. Everyone saw in Tokyo a year and a half ago the insane pressure on Moulay from Iran to deliberately lose in the semi-finals of the World Cup in order not to compete against Sagi in the final," the Judo Association said after midnight.
