Alexis Pinturault, defending champion, finished second in the combined at the Alpine Skiing Worlds held in Cortina d'Ampezzo (Italy).
The Frenchman had set the second time in the super-G behind the Canadian James Crawford, before signing the second time in the slalom behind the Austrian Marco Schwarz, who won in this combined with only 0''04 in advance.
The Swiss Loïc Meillard finished on the podium.
The Courchevel skier won a second medal at these Worlds after winning the bronze medal last Thursday in the Super-G.
