Who will want his contract?

Blake Griffin's journey to Detroit has come to an end, ESPN reported tonight (Monday).
The veteran forward and his team have come to the conclusion that he will no longer play until a decision is made regarding his future.
The Pistons who are trying to rebuild themselves are looking for a trade on Griffin, and it is not inconceivable that they will eventually decide to release him for free.
"I thank Detroit for understanding what I want later in my career. We will continue to work together to find the best way," he said.
It is doubtful whether any team will agree to trade Griffin and get his inflated contract - $ 36.6 million this season, $ 39 million next season - all the more so given his medical condition and ability this season.
His averages so far stand at 12.3 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game, at 34.6 percent from the field.

* Cleveland works similarly with Andre Drummond, a former Detroit.
The Cubs have decided that Jarrett Allen is their future chin and will no longer include Drummond in their games until they get a trade on him.
For the game against the Clippers last night, he did not dress at all, and showed up with a shirt with the caption "Goodbye."
Drummond has another $ 28.7 million left in his contract to end this summer, and according to Athletic, one of the teams expressing interest in him is Toronto.
Drummond averages 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds, 1.6 steals and 1.2 blocks per game this season.
* The league has announced that the game between San Antonio and Detroit, which was scheduled to take place on Tuesday night, has been postponed as the Spurs have a positive player for Corona.
