Gilles Moretton says it: he never dreamed of one day becoming president of the French Tennis Federation (FFT) by shaving his thin gray beard in the morning.
As a child, he saw himself as a doctor.
Dream aborted.
It must be said that before doing his military service, he had missed his bac D (scientific) in sports studies in Nice.

“I don't need money or notoriety.
I don't come to use tennis but to serve tennis.
Nothing was programmed.
I never saw myself as president of the FFT. ”
