The prosecutor of the Football Association's tribunal published the names of those on trial following the violent incident that occurred at the end of the Haifa derby between Maccabi and Hapoel Haifa players.

As you may recall, after a tease from one of the Maccabi Haifa players, a riot broke out that led to a brawl.

The four Maccabi Haifa players who will be prosecuted are San Menachem, Eid Habashi, Dolev Haziza and Bogdan Planich, along with the team's general manager Assaf Ben Dov, who is indicted in the indictment because he was not allowed to be on the field.

On the red side will be players Alon Turgeman, Eden Ben Best, Gal Erel, Dor Malul, Nisso Capiloto.

Hapoel Haifa fitness coach Danny Bibbs will also stand trial.

According to the indictment, San Menachem's provocation on the Hapoel Haifa bench ignited the provocation, with Eden Ben-Best leading the attack by Hapoel Haifa players, followed by Dor Malul and Alon Turgeman.

Most of the defendants will be prosecuted for disorderly conduct and unsportsmanlike conduct, while Habashi and Haziza from Maccabi Haifa and Turgeman and Capiloto from Hapoel Haifa will also be charged with participating in a fight in aggravated circumstances.

The punishment of the four is supposed to be extremely heavy.

Bibbs will also be charged with this felony.

Menachem, who was accused of provoking Hapoel Haifa ("Go home, a bunch of rags") led to the riot, was not included in the brawl charges and is expected to receive a relatively light sentence.

In addition, Maccabi Haifa midfielder Muhammad Abu Fani was removed from the list of defendants, although his name was mentioned in referee Liran Liani's match report.
