Last night (Sunday), Maccabi Tel Aviv maintained the first place in the Premier League table with a convincing 81: 100 victory over Hapoel Holon.
The victory raised the team to a balance of 11 wins against 2 losses, with next week the Yellows expect two more games at home in the league during the team's break against Bnei Herzliya and Nahariya.
Just three days after returning from a 17-point deficit in the last quarter against the same opponent in the State Cup semifinals, Maccabi Tel Aviv dominated the game from the opening, gained a double-digit advantage in the first quarter, and except for two Holon comeback attempts that were halted by a fairly large margin.
Oz Blazer was again the standout scorer with 19 points, with Otho Hunter with 17 points, Chris Jones with 15 points and 9 assists and Yuval Sussman flying another game of 11 points.
Jones even won praise from Yannis Sapropoulos in the locker room for his play.
Sandy Cohen surprised with 3 threes and 9 points, and TJ Klein in his team debut was also good with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists.
"It's an honor for me to be here and it's a privilege," Klein said at the conclusion.
"I will give everything I can in defense and offense, this team is so great at accepting me and making me feel like family. There are people here who give you advice all the time, I learn from them, they make my job very easy."
The citizen added about the meeting against his ex in the premiere: "Do not try to think who on the other side in the whole personal issue, I knew there would be some emotions after the game in the cup. I said hello to my friends on the other side, they were my family, built my career, I am grateful to Hapoel Holon "But I am part of Maccabi Tel Aviv now. I feel there is a commitment to put everything aside and concentrate on victory."

Klein was supposed to be part of the squad of the Israeli team that will go into the EuroBasket 2022 qualifying bubble in Poland, but the team decided to give up his services due to the lack of guards and the national box will be filled by Spencer Weiss.
Instead, Klein left with Maccabi Tel Aviv for Milan for a game on Thursday, and it is possible that he will get dressed.
"I'm here to do a job and whatever they tell me I will do. I will wait for the game in Milan, if I do not register, I will encourage the best players, and if I am on the pitch, I will be the best player I can be. That is the attitude I come with. ".
