Gal Makal returns to the drama that followed his infection in Corona, and the complications that ensued.
As you may recall, the Malaga and Israel national team coordinator is recovering from a blood clot in his heart that was formed after he was diagnosed with the virus.
Stick has been sidelined in recent months, but says his return to the pitches may happen sooner than expected.
"I have been training again in recent weeks and I am slowly picking up the pace. I may return earlier than expected," Stick told Radio 103. "I received another opinion in the country that can help me. I may come to Israel for further tests, and I hope to return to midfield in mid-March."

Stick recalls the severe effects of the corona on his body.
"I had weakness, I lost my sense of taste and smell and after two weeks I felt a little better. I went back to training, but that evening, after I had already gone through all the symptoms, I drove and suddenly felt short of breath. Then headaches and weakness started. I was diagnosed with a healthy blood clot. "This is a result of the corona. In Israel, there is some disagreement about this diagnosis, but I have been receiving blood-thinning medication for more than a month, and it is very possible that I will stop them within a few weeks and return to the pitches."
Stick knows he is expected to have a gradual process of getting back into shape.
"It took me two months until I felt really fine, until I felt I could train. I need to build fitness on that. I'm a week to 10 days away from getting to playing fitness."
