Michael Jordan is considered the greatest basketball player of all time, but it often turns out that his heart is also very big, when he often works for the environment, without forgetting where he came from.

The former NBA star, who has won six championships with the Chicago Bulls, put his hand deep into his pocket to set up two clinics in North Carolina, in the city of Wilmington, where he grew up after his family moved to her from New York when he was 5 years old.

Jordan, currently the owner of the Charlotte Hornets Group, is investing no less than $ 10 million, and it looks like the two clinics are expected to open to the public in 2022.

According to a local medical system, the clinics will serve the residents of the area, both insured and uninsured.

"Everyone deserves the highest level of medical care available, no matter where they live or whether they are insured or not," Jordan declared, adding: "Wilmington has an important place in my heart. Opening clinics is a gratitude on my part to the community that has given me so much."

This is not the first time Jordan has donated to set up clinics.

He did the same in 2017, when he donated $ 7 million to establish two of these in Charlotte, one of which is for family medicine and has been operating extensively since the outbreak of the corona plague to care for the local community.
