The team left for Poland yesterday morning with only 12 players after Idan Zalmanson was taken off the plane when one of his family members fell ill in Corona.
The team decided not to take a chance and left Zalmanson in the country.
All the players of the team, including the players who came to the bubble in Poland from Europe, underwent two corona tests in the last few days before entering the bubble, and came out negative.
The team, which is staying at a hotel in Gilwice, have not yet received instructions on how to proceed, but in a similar case held in a bubble in Spain, the Romanian team was put in isolation at the hotel, and only went to official games without training before them.
All four teams passed the test upon entering the bubble, and a positive virus player was also discovered in the Polish camp.
The Israeli team, which has already advanced to EuroBasket 2022, will play this coming Friday against Romania (18:30) and on Sunday against the Spanish team (18:30)
