After a weak season opener that mostly included losses and then a Corona blow, Washington starts to connect and tonight (Monday through Tuesday) the Wizards put together a second straight win with another offensive display, this time 119: 131 against Houston.
After scoring 8 points and dropping 10 rebounds in the win over Boston, Danny Abdia got 20 minutes off the bench this time and recorded a lukewarm game with just 5 points, 3 rebounds and zero in the assists column, steals and also losses.
Abdia was not part of his team’s offensive streak and scored 2 of 4 from the field, including one three-pointer in the second quarter and another typical basket penetration in the fourth quarter.

Whoever celebrated in this game was Russell Westbrook, who excelled against the ex who gave it up with an impressive triple-double of 16 points, 16 assists, 13 rebounds and also 5 turnovers.
Bradley Bill the king of the league's baskets led the scoring column as usual with 37 points and Davis Bartans bombed 5 threes and added 18 from the bench.
John Wall, who moved to Houston in a trade with Westbrook, led by 29 points and 11 assists, David Navawa added 19 but the Rockets were too short without the injured Tucker and Gordon.
Washington, which slightly improved its balance to 17: 8, will continue its home game campaign on the night between Wednesday and Thursday with a tough game against the mighty Denver.
