Great pressure on the Israeli Judo Association due to the suspicion of a number of coroners who came to participate in the Tel Aviv Grand Slam 2021, which is expected to open tomorrow.
An update issued by the Judo Association emphasized that: "The delegations do not come into contact with the Israeli public and from the moment of landing the participants did not leave the hotel."
It was further promised that: "The organizing committee operates in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and is in continuous contact with the ministry's staff."
The union promised that each of the participants, boarded a flight to Israel only after presenting two negative results in the corona test, from the last 72 hours before the flight, and everyone who arrived in the country "is in strict isolation."
Five of the participants were identified as corona blue, although the test results were defined as borderline.
Three of them were found to be negative on further examination, further examination of a non-athlete participant has not yet arrived.
The fifth is considered a cure, because although it has been found to be positive, it has been infected in the past in Corona.
The union reiterated: "We act in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of Health and will continue to act in accordance with the strict procedures of the World Association and the Ministry of Health."
