The
comeback
of Thierry Henry in England?
According to the
Daily
Mirror, the former glory of Arsenal is at the top of the list of candidates for the post of manager of the club of Bournemouth, relegated to the Championship last season.
The former Monaco coach would thus precede his former partner at Arsenal, Patrick Vieira, whose name had been mentioned last week alongside those of David Wagner and John Terry at the bedside of the current sixth of the English second division, now coached by Jonathan Woodgate, who is acting after the dismissal of Jason Tindall after only six months at the head of
Cherries

Under contract with Montreal until December
For its part,
Sky Sports
simply evokes a willingness of the management of the club to initiate discussions with Thierry Henry, currently under contract until December with CF Montreal (ex-Montreal Impact) in MLS.
Aged 43, the native of Les Ulis could thus come back into the spotlight after a first mixed experience at the head of AS Monaco during the 2018-2019 season.
The top scorer in the history of the Blues (51 goals in 123 caps) would return especially to England, where he shone in the Arsenal jersey between 1999 and 2007 (226 goals) before returning there for a short draw of seven matches in 2012 (2 goals).
A freelance during which he had been able to evolve with Jack Wilshere (29 years), which he could find near Bournemouth.
On the coast, Thierry Henry would have the mission of bringing Bournemouth back to the Premier League, where the club had stabilized since its first accession in 2015 under the orders of Eddie Howe, thanked after eight years of good and loyal service last August.
Sixth in the Championship, the club is still in the race for the play-offs of accession (direct elimination phase between the teams classified from 3rd to 6th place) but is eleven lengths from the leading duo - made up of Brentford and Norwich - automatically promoted to the elite of English football.
