Maccabi Haifa striker Nikita Rokavica complained of symptoms of the corona virus, and as a result was referred today (Wednesday) by the club's doctor for examination.
The Australian, who was absent due to injury and is partially training with his teammates, was instructed to remain in home isolation until the test results were obtained.
At the club, it was decided to test most of the players on the staff, even though with the exception of 12 of them - everyone received the second dose of vaccine.
A few weeks ago, during one of the Fridays, the players jumped from their home to a clinic in Nahariya in order to receive the first vaccine dose, and since then they have managed to receive the second one as well.
This story comes at a bad time for the Greens, after some of the team's players were sent off by the court following the events of the Haifa derby, and just before the match in the eighth round of the State Cup against Hapoel Umm al-Fahm (Saturday).
