Manchester City have won the Premier League for the twelfth time in a row.

With a 3: 1 (1: 1) in the catch-up game at Everton, the team of coach Pep Guardiola extended its lead at the top of the table.

The Citizens took the lead after about half an hour (32nd) when Everton's Seamus Coleman deflected a shot from Phil Foden (32nd).

Five minutes later, Richarlison equalized for seventh in the table (37th).

In the second half, the league leaders turned up.

After Everton's goalkeeper Jordan Pickford had previously prevented the lead, Riyad Mahrez hit from the right edge of the box into the far corner (63.).

Bernardo Silva decided the game for City (77th), in which the last strong İlkay Gündoğan was missing due to groin problems.

City pulls away

In the table, City pulls away with a 17th consecutive win across all competitions.

Manchester United and Leicester City are ten points behind the Citizens with 46 points each.

Defending champions Liverpool are only sixth after three league defeats in a row and are already 16 points behind the league leaders.

The competition should not hope for a break-in by the Guardiola team.

Especially since Kevin De Bruyne made his comeback in the last few minutes against Everton.

The midfield star had to sit out for about a month due to a thigh injury.
