Spaniard Pep Guardiola, coach of the English club Manchester City, has become the tenth most victorious coach in the history of the English Premier League.
The Opta Sports Statistics Network reported that Guardiola achieved this achievement, in partnership with Martin O'Neill, with 130 victories after his team's victory yesterday over Everton by three goals to one.
The network indicated that Guardiola achieved a 130th victory in the English Premier League out of 176 matches he played in training in the competition with Manchester City, one ahead of Jürgen Klopp, coach of Liverpool, who won 129 wins in 206 games.
It is noteworthy that the Scotsman Sir Alex Ferguson, the former historic coach of Manchester United, ranks among the most successful coaches in the English Premier League, with 528 wins.
