Biathlon World Cup in the live ticker: Preuss and Lesser can make amends in the relays

"I made the pile in the toilet and Franzi then flushed it down," Lesser grumbled about the unappealing performance of the biathletes on Thursday.

After seventh place, Preuss was also anything but enthusiastic and spoke of a "poop day". Last year she and Lesser won the World Cup silver medal in Antholz.

The medal from Arnd Peiffer *, who won silver in the men's singles on Wednesday, should give the DSV team * hope at the final weekend of the world championship.

After the relays on Saturday, the mass starts will follow on the last day of the tournament.

So with four pending decisions, will there be a single German podium?

In the medal table, Germany ranks sixth out of seven, but can still climb a few places.

Biathlon World Cup in the live ticker: Preuss does not want to "hang his head" - Lesser won silver last year

The goal of four to five precious metals is still a bit far away, but the DSV team wants to get everything out of it again on the last two days.

“I'll be patient and do my stuff.

Now I can't let my head hang, ”said Preuss from Wasserburg, who was always in the top ten at the World Cup.

Lesser, on the other hand, disappointed at the World Cup, but was able to demonstrate comeback qualities.

Last year, the 26-year-old was able to take part in the competitions after massive problems and won two silver medals, one of which was in the men's relay.

A good omen?
