Solidarity: how Marquinhos was won over by an entrepreneur from Seine-Saint-Denis

Thanks to the help of the PSG captain, Madjid Lattab, an entrepreneur from Neuilly-sur-Marne, specializing in ready-to-wear, helps children

On the Instagram account of his company Flamant Paris, we can see Marquinhos, the captain of PSG, wearing a t-shirt from his collection.

Parisian German defender Thilo Kherer is dressed in a black sweatshirt.

Several PSG players like Neymar, Verratti or Kimpembe pose with a signed jersey.

Madjid Lattab (35), an entrepreneur from Seine-Saint-Denis, domiciled in Neuilly-sur-Marne, even managed to convince Marquinhos to become an ambassador for the project of his ready-to-wear brand.

His company, created in 2017, is based on a concept combining fashion and humanitarian aid.

With each purchase of a Flamant Paris product, Madjid offers a T-shirt and a hot meal to a child living in a disadvantaged neighborhood in the world.

"I got this desire to help others from my mother and her education, because she always taught us to share and to give," explains the penultimate of five siblings.

I have found a concept that allows me to make children smile and that is priceless.

During my first trip to Cameroon, we organized a fair by distributing gifts to a hundred young people in need.

To approach Marquinhos, the entrepreneur is first put in touch with Nelson, the player's butler, thanks to a mutual friend, Cédric.

“Nelson immediately showed himself to listen to my concept by making sure he was going to talk to Marquinhos about it,” says this holder of a pro sales baccalaureate.

A few days later, I met Marquinhos at the Camp des Loges.

It was awesome!

He was excited with his mother by the project and they gave me their approval.

Doors open when you are honest with people.

His friend Cédric, who then became Thilo Kehrer's butler, also played intermediaries with the German defender.

“Thilo buys me a lot of clothes so that I can do my actions,” he says.

Pro players are very sensitive to initiatives to help children.

Aubameyang (the Arsenal striker) also bought me products and Neymar, Paredes, Verratti, Kimpembe and Kean each gave me an autographed jersey for the children.

At the end of each year, we take stock with my accountant on the number of products sold and then I call various contacts in several countries to distribute when I cannot come.

"Building drinking water wells"

The idea for this concept combining fashion and humanitarianism dates from a trip in May 2017 to Las Vegas.

"I was a very big poker player and had decided to play one last time in the global city of gambling," said the former manager of an industrial cleaning company.

At the casino, I tell a senior that if I win big, I will create a clothing line to help children around the world.

And I won a very nice sum… For me, it was a sign of fate.

I had to return to Paris and set up my business thanks to this gain.

Leaving the casino, I see the Flamingo hotel in front of me (flamingo in English).

A new sign.

My ready-to-wear line would therefore be called Flamant Paris.

The health crisis did not allow him to make humanitarian trips last year but the bachelor has already prepared his post Covid-19 program.

"With Marquinhos' mother, through her M5 association, we have to go to Brazil and a trip is also planned to Burundi with Thilo Kherer (his mother is from Burundi) and his association," says Madjid.

My goal now is to build drinking water wells in Chad and Madagascar.

A T-shirt and a hot meal can help for a shorter or longer period of time, but a well, it helps a lifetime.
