Starligue: PSG begins its marathon

2021-02-19T16:55:37.538Z

This Saturday in Chartres, the Parisian handball players are starting a week of madness with four matches on the program by next Sunday.

Still undefeated - 14 games for as many victories and a new title of champion of France which extends its arms to it - the PSG moves this Saturday (6 p.m.) to Chartres to face a team which is struggling to remain in the company of other Ile-de-France clubs , Tremblay, Créteil and Ivry.

It is especially for Paris, the beginning of a week which will see them play 4 games until February 28.

The adversary

Chartres should not be the first team to bring down Paris this season.

The Chartrains have no other ambition this season than to ensure their maintenance.

They know that it is not against Paris that they can do it.

They have 4 wins for 8 defeats on their scoreboard and 4 points over Créteil, the first non-relegation.

In the first leg, there was no suspense before Paris won 36-23.

The challenge

For Paris, it is as easy as pie: to remain undefeated and invincible in the Starligue.

PSG has not yet experienced the taste of defeat once and it is possible that in a corner of their head, Nedim Remili's partners want it to last until the end of the season.

Barring a huge surprise, a new title of champion of France should not escape them since they already have 6 points ahead of their most dangerous Montpellier.

Staying undefeated until the end must be a challenge they enjoy.

The number

4.

Like the number of matches that awaits the Parisians before the end of February, so before the end of next week.

After Chartres, they will receive the Poles from Kielce on Tuesday (6.45 p.m.), and will go Thursday (8.45 p.m.) to challenge the Germans from Flensburg in the Champions League before going to Istres on Sunday 28 February.

The internationals will then have only one match on the program on March 4 in the Champions League before the TQO with the Blues from March 12 to 14.
