Today, the Argentine judiciary began examining two cell phones belonging to the late soccer star Diego Maradona to analyze possible negligence in his medical treatment.
Argentine media reported that the Public Prosecutor's Office in San Isidro is investigating the actions of a medical team that supervised Mardona's health, including a neurosurgeon and a number of doctors and patients.
Maradona was admitted to a clinic in the city of La Plata on November 2, due to anemia and dehydration, and after one day, he was transferred to a sanatorium in Buenos Aires, where he underwent surgery due to a hematoma, and on November 11 he was discharged from the clinic, but with a stay at home to continue treatment.
On November 25, Maradona died in a private home in the suburbs of Buenos Aires. An autopsy concluded his death as a result of acute pulmonary edema of exacerbation of chronic heart failure.
According to the results of the toxicology analyzes that were carried out, the 1986 World Cup star had no alcohol or drugs in his body.
