The youth team brings together the best talents that Israeli football has to offer.

Its players are often labeled as "the next big thing", but reality shows that many of them get lost over the years.

Six years ago, we set out to find out where the same players who were planned to be the reserve of Israeli football are, with a review of the 10 yearbooks of the years 2005-2014.

Now we are back to the project and coming to 2015. The excellent players are according to the staff that participated in the European Championship qualifiers every year.

Who broke out, who got stuck and who disappeared.

Idan Nachmias

- Urban captain of Kiryat Shmona, the team where he grew up and where he plays to this day.

He is the only player from the same youth team to reach the senior team, although he has not yet had a real chance at it (two minutes as a substitute in extra time against Slovakia in the League of Nations).

In the summer, he is expected to move to a more senior club or go abroad.

Shai Ben David

- The defender / stopper made his debut in the Maccabi Haifa uniform as early as January 2016, and managed to register 16 appearances in green before going out on loan at Hapoel Ashkelon and Hapoel Afula. Elon Yerushalmi

- was captain and one of the most prominent players in the yearbook.

As a teenager, he moved from Maccabi Tel Aviv to Maccabi Netanya after entering a minor quarantine.

In the alumni of Netanya, he gradually integrated, went out for questions, went up in the league with Hapoel Hadera and this season returned to Netanya and received credit when he also recently started in the team.

Who knows, maybe we're starting to see something of the great future that awaited him.

Ofek Marom

- The connection moved as a teenager from Tobruk to Kiryat Shmona, but very quickly went down to lower leagues.

He played for Nesher, had a good season with Amidar Ramat Gan and last season moved with Hapoel Kfar Shalem to Leumit.

In November he returned to League A South to try and assist MS's promotion efforts.

Jeremiah Holon.

Ibrahim Spori

- Ramzi's younger brother, on whom we built a lot in the youth department of Hapoel Tel Aviv and believed that he would go further than the big brother.

Joined the senior team in the relegation season in 2016/17, played little and then started looking for himself in the lower leagues, in Herzliya, Bnei Lod, Marmorek and now in MS.

Raz Yitzhak

- the most prominent attacking players in the same yearbook. At the age of 17, Amir Kabiri's money (at least on paper) transferred him from the youth department of Maccabi Tel Aviv to that of Hapoel Tel Aviv, but after a year he started rolling in Leumit (Shaareiim, Betar Tel Aviv, Marmorek) and today he can be found at Maccabi Herzliya, which plays in the First Division South.

Eden Hershkovitz
