The European Football Association UEFA announced today that Frenchman Kylian Mbappe, the star of Paris Saint-Germain, has won the Player of the Week award in the UEFA Champions League final.
UEFA stated on its official website that Mbappe won the award after he led his team to a big victory over Barcelona, Spain, in a four-for-one goal in the first leg of the tournament final, during which he scored three goals against Barcelona.
Mbappe beat the duo, Erling Haaland of Borussia Dortmund, and Sergio Oliveira of Porto.
