The activities held by the Boxing Federation since the beginning of this year have received the attention of the Asian and International Federations through what has been published on their official websites due to the tournaments and qualifying courses for its cadres.
In a statement to SANA's representative, Kamel Shabib, president of the Boxing Federation, said: “The Asian and International Federation recently published the tournaments and activities carried out by the Boxing Federation, highlighting the Syrian Youth Championship in Lattakia as well as focusing on the Syrian national team for youth and men through the successful training camp in Iran ”at the same time referring to the upcoming local tournaments that the federation will hold for all groups after the sub-tournaments are held in the provinces and sports bodies to select the best to participate in the central tournaments within the framework of the return of the Syrian boxing activity to its previous state.
Shabib pointed out that the qualifying courses that our union will hold for its cadres were the focus of attention of the Asian and International Federations, most notably the upcoming qualifying session in Arabic and English that will be held on the sixteenth of next month to develop the skills of game rulers in Syria under the supervision of a number of international referees.
