The Syrian national football team ranked seventy-sixth in the world, the tenth in Asia, and the ninth in the Arab world in the first version of the monthly national teams ranking for the current year issued by the International Federation of Football Associations.
The Belgian national team continued to lead the world ranking in the new version, followed by France, Brazil, England, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico and Italy, respectively.
Tunisia came first at the Arab level, 26 globally, then Algeria 31 globally, Morocco 33 globally, Egypt 49 globally, Qatar 58 globally, Saudi Arabia 67 globally, Iraq 69 globally, the UAE 74 globally, Syria 76 globally and Oman 81 globally.
