This is not Europe: after being defeated by Milan, Maccabi Tel Aviv returned to the league and won again when they defeated Bnei Herzliya 75:98 tonight (Saturday).
The Yellows, whose chances of qualifying for the next stage of the Euroleague seem particularly low, continue to dominate the Israeli league unchallenged with a sixth consecutive victory and a 2:12 balance.
This time they defeated Sharon Drucker's improving team which suffered only a third loss in the last eight rounds.
Ante Žižić once again discovered that in our dwarfs league life is more comfortable than against the highs of Ettore Messina & Co. and led the winning list of scenes.
Chris Jones also looks good with 14 points and 10 assists.
Despite the loss, Herzliya can be encouraged by the ability it displayed in the first half and was a direct continuation of the positive momentum from the last period.
Koti Clark has given a taste of the ability that has brought him to the Euroleague in the past with 21 points on 7-of-9 from the field, but Jared Cunningham is still rusty and will take time to come in after over a year without basketball.
