Summary: Hapoel Beer Sheva - Maccabi Tel Aviv 1: 0 (Sport 1)
On Thursday, exactly one week after the home game against Shakhtar Donetsk in the last 32 of the Europa League, Maccabi Tel Aviv will meet the Ukrainians away for the rematch, in an attempt to erase the 2-0 from the first game.
Former Ukrainian player Vyacheslav Shevchuk, who played for Shakhtar for 11 seasons before coaching the club's youth team (where he met Yellows coach Patrick Van Leven), spoke to local media about the game between the two.
"Maccabi Tel Aviv played too carefully," said Shevchuk.
"You can't play that way against a team like Shakhtar. She should have played a lot more aggressively. I talked about it with Patrick Van Leven and he agreed with me."

"At a later stage of the game, when Maccabi Tel Aviv started to press and play higher, Shekhtar managed to create spaces that led to the second goal. The level differences between the teams were clear and I do not think there is a chance for the Israeli team to reciprocate in Ukraine."
