Danny Abdia practices shooting after Washington's loss to Toronto (from the Wizards' Twitter)
10 points and just 8 shots from the field - this is the unflattering balance of the Washington Wizards rookie Danny Abdia in the last three games.
After two games in which he finished with five (against Houston) and three points (against Denver), tonight (Saturday through Sunday) Abdia settled for just two points in the Wizards' 111: 118 over Portland in a game in which he took a single shot.
Abdia again started the game on the bench when this time he received from his coach Scott Brooks a little over 11 minutes.
He also added three rebounds in just the second game since coming to the NBA in which he did not take even a single shot attempt off the arc.

In contrast, his team is actually thriving after recording its fourth straight win - the second longest winning streak in the league right now after Brooklyn.
"Washington has been able to stay in the game thanks to some changes in the rotation that Brooks has made," nbcwashington wrote.
"Surprisingly, Brooks decided to go for Isaac Bonga early in the second quarter and not for Abdia or Garrison Matthews, even though Bonga has played little in recent weeks."
"Your five minutes on the floor were tremendous," Brooks complimented Bonga in the locker room.
"Congratulations Isaac, don't just sit on the bench for a few weeks straight and then play well."
While the Wizards coach was pleased with the change, many on the net were surprised by the change, including senior Athletic reporter Fred Katz, who tweeted his opinion on the matter during the game.
