Maccabi Rishon Lezion announced today (Sunday) the signing of forward Jamil Wilson until the end of the season.
Wilson, who finished his career at the same time at Hapoel Jerusalem, will join the Orange training with the person leaving the club being guard Isaiah Taylor, who is currently not signed by any other team.
Wilson (30, 2.01) came to Hapoel Jerusalem after a varied career that included the first league in Italy where he played in Turin, Virtus Bologna and Virtus Roma, a season in the Russian Kazan and a certain period in the Los Angeles Clippers.
In Jerusalem, he failed to show his ability and averaged 6 points and 1.8 rebounds in four games.
Taylor (26, 1.88) arrived in Europe for the first time this summer after a career that included two years in the Development League, a good season at the Atlanta Hawks and an injury that sidelined him from a game two years ago.
In 11 league games for Rishon Lezion, he averaged 17 points, 4.4 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game.
At the same time, Jeremy Fargo is expected to land in Israel and, after the Corona inspection, join the team's training.
The one who should not be fit in the near future is forward Noam Avivi, who is suffering from a back injury.
