The Football Association today (Sunday) officially announced the end of Nir Levin's career as the coach of the young team.

As expected, Levin has resigned from the position he has held for the past five years, alongside being the technical director of the youth teams and pedagogically responsible for coaching courses for coaches.

"I am finishing a significant chapter in my professional life, proud and confident of the good future that awaits the young Israeli teams," said Levin.

"Throughout my years working in the association, which had a home and family, I enjoyed fruitful cooperation with all parties, we had a relationship of trust and respect and always the good of the industry was before our eyes. "I also had the privilege of contributing to the development of many who will lead the same team and others. The work has always combined providing the basics of the game and training alongside cultivating social values, and I am convinced that Israeli teams benefit from this combination.

Oren Hasson, chairman of the Football Association, said: "I would like to thank Nir for his many years of work for the benefit of the young Israeli national teams, the development of the training system and his mobilization for every professional and social project that the association has undertaken.

Nir has brought to his various roles great passion, immense knowledge, endless diligence and a significant contribution to the development of young players and coaches.

Nir was a true team player and his cooperation with all the factors in the association was exemplary.

The Israeli association and football have been blessed with a first-rate professional. "
