The Syrian equestrian has returned to shine again in the international show jumping championships, after a break from outside participation last year due to the Corona pandemic, which affected sports around the world.
In the Sharjah International Championships, the hurdles ranked in the one- and two-star categories that were recently competing, the Syrian Knights achieved good results, as the knight (captain) Yasser Al-Sharif managed to get fourth place at a time of 30.63 seconds, and the knight Amr Hamsho won the fifth place in a time of 31.28 seconds, as part of the 130 class match. CM, whose competitions were held two consecutive games,
with the participation of 58 knights.
In the 135-cm category match that was held with the participation of 74 jockeys in an original race and a round of distinction, the knight Amr Hamsho won the third place in a time of 31.75 seconds before he won the same place in the final, the Grand Prix in which the hurdles rose to 145 cm, recording a time of 76.31 seconds. The match took place with the participation of 54 knights.
Our knights also had a distinguished participation in the category of foals, with a height of 130 cm, where the knight Shadi Gharib won the first place at a time of 65.29 seconds, while the knight Muhammad Osama Al-Zubibi came third at a time of 32.28 seconds, and in the children category at a height of 115 cm, the knight Laith Shadi Gharib won the first place in this category, which was held for one half Speed recorded in time of 27.62 seconds.
Our knights were also able to score advanced results in the Fatima Bint Mubarak Academy International Cup for hurdling with two stars. In the first match in which the hurdles rose to 130 cm and was a speed stroke, the knight Shadi Gharib managed to achieve first place in this match. As for the match that raised the hurdles In it to 115 cm, which is for the children category, so the knight Laith Gharib was able to crown the title, and the knight Aya Hamsho won first place in the 120 cm category, which was held on an original run and a round of distinction.
