In Gelsenkirchen, Schalke supporters were filmed as police officers kept them away from the entrance to the arena.
Presumably, they wanted to intercept the players in order to confront them after the 4-0 defeat in the derby.
In Dortmund, the fans received the team bus to celebrate the players after the victory.
A video of it on Mahmoud Dahoud's Instagram channel spread rapidly.
It showed a sea of Bengalos, complete ecstasy among players and fans, but also the disregard of any corona rules.
Only a few fans wore a mask, without any gaps, a large cluster formed in front of the bus.
Dahoud later deleted the video, and Jadon Sancho also removed the sensitive part from his Instagram story.
Regardless of the American's social media presence, other images of this derby will be remembered: that of Sancho's goal to make it 1-0, for example, or that of his cross before Erling Haaland's spectacular goal to make it 2-0.

Sancho had also posted another photo that actually violates the protocol: He is wearing the captain's armband on his left arm, which Vice-Captain Mats Hummels would have been entitled to after Marco Reus was replaced.
Sancho grabbed the armband again and again, it must mean a lot to him.
What does the job at Borussia Dortmund mean to him?
This question has been discussed a lot over the past few months.
There was the offer at Manchester United that supposedly turned his head, there were games in which he seemed listless, powerless, absent.
"It wasn't an easy phase for him," said coach Edin Terzić, "we went through it with him, talked a lot with him, worked with him individually."
The coaching change could explain the upswing at Sancho.
Under Terzić, who was promoted to boss in mid-December, he scored all five goals of the season and six of his now ten assists.
"Now he's back to his old strength - felt," said the coach, whose predecessor Lucien Favre always explained the months of weakness Sanchos with the normal fluctuations of a young player.

Edin Terzić provided further reasons for the 20-year-old Englishman to improve on Saturday.

Sancho's contract is still valid until summer 2023, the rumored exit clause at Haaland should not take effect until 2022.
In the photo that showed Sancho with the captain's armband on his left arm, he patted the BVB coat of arms with his right hand.
"For the fans," he wrote underneath.
