Danny Abdia met LeBron James and the Lakers Staples Center Lakers for the first time this morning (Tuesday) from where the Wizards came out with a fifth straight win and a particularly dramatic one, 124: 127 after overtime on one of the championship favorites.
The Israeli rookie, who was weak in the first three quarters, in the end actually managed to impress in the decisive quarter where he scored all 8 of his points and in addition also reduced 8 rebounds and also recorded 2 assists and a single steal.
Abdia, who along with Russell Westbrook (32 points, 9 assists and 14 rebounds) and Bradley Bill (33 points), put their team at 17:11, was a full partner in the marvelous comeback, which included coming out of a deep pit of 17 points.
The Israeli won compliments thanks to the tight guard on LeBron James, who although he finished with 31 points, 13 assists and 9 rebounds, but missed two crucial shots in overtime.
