Danny Abdia is impressed by the Lakers' training facility (from Instagram)
To date, Danny Abdia has played against LeBron James on the PlayStation.
But tonight (Monday through Tuesday), he met him on the floor, when the Washington Wizards hosted the Los Angeles Lakers champions.
Despite a mediocre start, Abdia recorded a very reasonable game with eight points, eight rebounds, two assists, a steal and a very good defense for LeBron.
Abdia will likely want to forget the first three quarters against the champion, in which he played little, did not score and was relatively weak on both sides of the court.
But then came the fourth quarter, and so did Danny Abdia.
The Israeli rookie scored his first points of the game at the best timing possible: with his team two points behind, after a tremendous run that mimicked a 17-point advantage.
He was accurate off the arc and gave the Wizards an advantage in a game that didn’t last many minutes.
If that wasn’t enough, in the fourth quarter Abdia also added a steal with none other than LeBron, a rebound and a hockey assist that increased the lead to his team’s credit.

While the two teams swapped the difference, deep into the fourth quarter, Abdia scored his fifth point of the game, leaving free under the basket and finishing bursting with easy points.
After the good minutes on the floor, with just over five minutes left in the session, Abdia went down to rest with a nice contribution of just under 20 minutes on the floor, especially in the fourth quarter, before returning to play with just over two minutes left in the session.
In a 111: 111 situation, a little less than a minute to go, he got the ball completely free off the arc.
He rose, accurate and set 111: 114 in favor of the Wizards, who seemed on the safe path to victory.
But the Lakers did not give up, balanced the result and the game went into overtime, where Washington managed to increase the advantage and record a fifth consecutive victory.
Abdia played a few seconds in overtime and added another rebound to his balance.
He finished with 8 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal.
