Munich - There are certainly easier tasks than trying to make amends with the league leaders, of all places.

But that is exactly what the little Bavarians have in mind when they play the catch-up game at Dynamo Dresden this evening in the third division.

Dynamo Dresden against FC Bayern II in the live ticker: FCB U23 has four points ahead of relegation zone

After the painful 1-0 defeat at home on Sunday against Viktoria from Cologne, who had previously been winless eight times in a row, FC Bayern II wants to avoid being dragged into the vortex of relegation again.

The talent pool of the German soccer record champions is currently four points above the relegation zone in the table.

And at least: Away the "Bayern amateurs" have been easier lately than in the Grünwalder stadium at home, the reigning third division champions have been undefeated in foreign stadiums for five games.

Dynamo Dresden against FC Bayern II in the live ticker: Timo Kern is back in the U23 squad from Munich

Bayern coach Holger Seitz has to do without central defender Kilian Senkbeil, who got a yellow-red card against Cologne in the final phase.

Senkbeil, however, only slipped into the starting line-up after Bright Arrey-Mbi was suspended.

Since the 17-year-old has served his suspension, he will now probably take his place in the five-man chain again.

Whether top talent Armindo Sieb will get another chance from the start after his nervous starting line-up on Sunday is doubtful.

In any case, the Bayern coach would like his team to be more determined.

The veteran Timo Kern could help.

With seven goals this season, the 31-year-old, who last failed due to Achilles tendon problems, but could now be an option again, is the personified goal danger in the ranks of Munich.
