Even fourth place in the West is not enough for an All-Star spot?

The list of substitutes for the NBA All-Star that was revealed tonight (Tuesday-Wednesday) caused a stir mainly because of those who were not included in it: Devin Booker from Phoenix, who is also recording impressive ability this season and marching Phoenix to fourth place in the West.
Upon revealing the list of substitutes set by the league's coaches, LeBron James reacted angrily, tweeting: "Devin Booker is the player who gets the least respect in our league, alongside Damien Lillard."
Other players were surprised by the disregard for the Suns star, who recorded an impressive breakout season last season, and the season is even more impressive.
Domantas Savonis of Indiana and Mike Conley of Utah also joined this morning on the list of the underprivileged.

So who's inside?
Four players will make their All-Star debut: Jaylen Brown of Boston, Zack Lavine of Chicago, Julius Randall of the Knicks and Zion Williamson of New Orleans, whose preference over Devin Booker is controversial.
James Harden and Damian Lillard are also on the list of substitutes, along with the two representatives sent by Utah, the best team in the league so far, Rudy Gober and Donovan Mitchell.
Substitutes from the West:
Damien Lillard, Donovan Mitchell, Chris Paul, Anthony Davis, Paul George, Zion Williamson, Rudy Gober.
Substitutes from the East:
Jaylen Brown, James Harden, Zack Lavine, Ben Simmons, Julius Randall, Jason Taitum, Nikola Wojciech.
Western top five players:
LeBron James (captain), Stephen Kerry, Luka Doncic, Kwai Leonard and Nikola Jokic.
Eastern Quintet Players
: Yannis Antocompo (Captain), Bradley Bill, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and Joel Ambide.
The game will be held on March 7 in Atlanta.
The squads of both teams will be determined through a draft to be held by captains LeBron James and Yannis Antocompo the night before the game.
