The captain, who has no choice but to serve as the team's stopper, could undergo groin surgery following the injury he suffered against Everton.
If he is operated on, he has finished the season and is also in great doubt for the Euros

Henderson had to be substituted during the 2-0 loss in the derby against Everton and his injury is a severe blow to the team, which has already lost all its brakes due to injuries.
If Henderson is indeed forced to undergo surgery, it means he has finished the season and is also questioning his eligibility for the England squad for the Euros this summer.
As is well known, Klopp has had to deal with subtractions from all of his defensive players including Virgil Van Dyke, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip.
Henderson had no choice but to serve as the club's stopper along with Fabigno, and now the German will have to be even more creative to find a stopper to open in the upcoming league games.
Liverpool are in a big crisis in the league with four consecutive losses and their only recent victory was the 0: 2 over Leipzig in the first game of the quarterfinals of the Champions League.
The champions are looking forward to league games against Sheffield United, Chelsea and Fulham before the meeting against the Germans.
