The handball players of TSV Partenkirchen have to cope with three departures.

The project - Murnau and Partenkirchen merged - is still not in danger.

Garmisch-Partenkirchen / Murnau -

The old heroes have not yet passed, the next one stops there.

For Thomas Stanglmair and Matthias Köglmayr, the two handball greats of TSV Murnau, a farewell game should take place - optionally with a celebration afterwards.

But sports and partying are not compatible with the corona pandemic.

So the two figureheads continue to wait for their official strike.

Now the people of Murnau can immediately expand the farewell ceremony: With Michael Ott, the next regular employee - he was captain in the advancement year 2020 - ends his career.

For the handball syndicate from Murnau and TSV Partenkirchen, a first-class option in the right back area breaks away.

It doesn't stop with his departure.

Another backcourt player, Robin Heizmann, leaves after graduating from the carving school.

Left winger Sebastian Hofmann will study in Regensburg in the future.

In addition, those responsible do not yet know what will happen to Jan Goebel, Mihaly Toth and a few other prospective students.

"These are things that make you sad," says Hannes Bräu, the voice of TSV Partenkirchen these days.

He and his colleagues already have enough problems steering the club through the corona crisis.

The assistant coach also emphasizes: “You are not destroying the project.” The TSVP will also provide two teams in the district league and district class in the next season.

Most of them feel like it, continue and are currently staying fit in the mountains and on the country lanes of the region for day X, when handball in the hall is again to be thought of.

With coach Maximilian Dück, the motivation for the next season is already “at the limit”, as he says.

At no point did he think of turning away from the joint project.

The only bitter thing is "that we have to compete again in the district league".

The first days of the match had already shown how superior the merger of Murnauer and Partenkirchner handball players is.

The makers have already drawn up initial plans for the preparation.

"If it can be done in June, we will start in June," emphasizes Dück.

The gaps that Ott and Heizmann in particular are tearing should be closed by their own men.

Nobody thinks about transfers in February.

This will only be dealt with when it becomes clear which clubs have survived the pandemic break and which have not.

Dück just hopes that his protégés will also find the motivation to take on the new roles.

The situation in the back area is anything but ideal.

A dangerous left-hander walks with Ott.

“It really hurts me.

Such a player type fits the club brutally “, says Bräu about the Peißenberger.

His many injuries (cruciate ligament, shoulder) have built up into a ballast that Ott no longer wants to carry.

Bräu could imagine integrating him into the coaching team.

He will discuss this with Ott soon.

Heizmann - "an absolute bomb" (Bräu) - returns to his home town of Baden-Württemberg after two years of carving school.

Hofmann has at least announced that he will help out whenever possible.

Goebel and his family have not yet decided whether to stay in the region or move to Franconia.

Regardless of this, Dück and Bräu want to involve some A-Juniors and also the talented Bayernliga B-youths in training.

“I'd like to have them with me,” says the coach.

There is also good news at TSVP these days.

The club has prepared the cabins in the Olympic Ice Sports Center.

Those responsible will soon be tackling the design of a fitness and weight room.

Hannes Bräu says: "The conditions are getting better and better."
