There are inconsistencies around the soccer teacher license of Türkgücü Munich coach Serdar Dayat.

Peter Neuruer, long-time Bundesliga coach, speaks of a scandal.

Munich -

Türkgücü Munich temporarily has a new coach.

Serdar Dayat will take over the coaching position at the Munich team until at least the summer of 2021. Now it comes out that there were inconsistencies in acquiring the Istanbul footballer's license.

As the Süddeutsche Zeitung reports, Peter Neururer and Rudi Bommer contacted the DFB independently in 2009 because Dayat had not started the internships they listed.

The former youth boss of Fenerbahce is said to have even copied his internship report from the Internet.

The DFB saw no reason to withdraw Dayat's license at the time.

Alexander Schmidt's successor was registered for a several-week internship at MSV Duisburg, but he never started under Neururer.

Peter Neururer on Serdar Dayat's internship: "That was an absolute scandal back then!"

Almost twelve years after the incident, we spoke to the cult coach about it.

The long-time Bundesliga coach can't believe that Dayat is now head coach at Türkgücü Munich and remembers exactly the incident: "That was an absolute scandal at the time!", Neururer said on the phone when asked by the Football Suburb / FuPa Upper Bavaria .

Even after twelve years, the anger of the ex-trainer, who is now working as a TV expert, can still be felt: "He deserved everything, but certainly not the Bundesliga coach license."

Neururer describes the case from his point of view: “The (Serdar Dayat, editor's note) did not appear at the appointment for the internship and then submitted an internship report, although he was not there.

I then reported that to the DFB. "

DFB admits insufficient provisions in the examination procedure

Dayat was then summoned to the control committee by the German Football Association.

Why the DFB did not react and Serdar Dayat did not withdraw his license is still completely unclear to Neururer: "The complaint was with the DFB, and if the association lets that go, then that is not my business."

At the request of Münchner Merkurs, the DFB says:

"After examinations by the DFB control committee, the following decisions were made in the DFB executive committee on the case on October 16, 2009:

1. No withdrawal of Mr. Dayat's license by the DFB Presidium in accordance with Section 29 No. 1. a) of the DFB's training regulations.

2. No legal proceedings will be initiated against Mr Dayat on suspicion of unsportsmanlike conduct.

3. In the present procedure it has been shown that the provisions of the DFB training regulations and the APO with regard to the examination procedure (e.g. completion and control of the internship, compulsory attendance) are inadequate.

The provisions should therefore be revised with the involvement of the DFB trainer staff.

To 3: Corresponding changes and clarifications of the training regulations were subsequently made and came into force on July 1, 2010. "

Peter Neuruer: Serdar Dayat is taking away other people's jobs

Dayat himself commented on the incident twelve years ago as follows: “I didn't get the chance to get an insight, to learn anything at MSV Duisburg.

I never did an internship - because the club wouldn't let me, "said the then 40-year-old in the role of victim.

Neururer, who has been in the business for a long time and has already seen almost everything, is stunned by the news that Serdar Dayat is now training a third division team and the DFB is just watching: "People like this take away from other people who do it regularly and correctly the jobs gone. "

Türkgücü Munich reacts to reports of inconsistencies

Türkgücü Munich: made a statement on the allegations upon request: “Serdar Dayat has a football instructor license.

He legally received this from the DFB.

There is nothing more to say on the subject ”, said Türkgücü managing director Max Kothny.
