Between Richard Déziré, a builder who has always used to take the time to build his teams and Créteil, a big consumer of trainers and anchored in a particular way of working, the marriage did not seem obvious.
It only lasted two months.
As we revealed on Wednesday evening, the club formalized the separation with the former Le Mans coach this Thursday afternoon.
Beyond the sporting results - three consecutive defeats in the league and an elimination from the Coupe de France against the Red Star - the departure of Déziré would be more due to operational differences.
After the defeat Tuesday against the penultimate Lyon SC (0-2), Déziré also evoked a situation which "calls for work, repetition and a flawless daily investment".
Créteil has indeed demoted to 10th place, five points behind 3rd Le Mans (but with one game less).
But the two sides separate on good terms.
“We leave by mutual agreement, confirms Richard Déziré.
I wish the best to Créteil.
As for me, this will allow me to prepare to look for an ambitious project for the future.

Since Wednesday morning, deputies Manuel Ramos and Edgar Sa have been leading the sessions.
They should be on the bench Saturday for the reception in Annecy.
Secretario ready to resume service
For the rest, according to our information, the return of… Carlos Secretario seems to be on the right track.
On December 18 after the draw against Concarneau (1-1), the Portuguese coach, very moved, announced his departure from Créteil for health reasons.
But since then, Secretario returned to Portugal to his family, gave reassuring news on his Facebook page.
On February 17, he posted a message saying “ready to return to work” with several photos of his visit to Créteil.
